How does the per-6-inch pricing work?
Your property has an agreed rate for each started 6-inch snowfall increment. Up to 6″ uses one increment, over 6″ through 12″ uses two, and over 12″ through 18″ uses three. At a $45 rate, a 10″ storm is $90 for driveway snow service. Your proposal confirms the measurement method and service trigger.
Am I charged every time you visit?
Billing is based on the storm’s snowfall increments. Included service passes and courtesy cleanups are part of your proposed incremental driveway rate. Selected additional services are separately priced in your proposal.
What size driveway does the $45 starting rate cover?
The planning starting rate covers up to 2,000 sq. ft. of driveway, including the service area’s aprons and turnarounds. Each started 500 sq. ft. above that adds $7.50 to the rate per 6-inch increment. We verify the property before issuing a final proposal.
When will you come during a storm?
Your written service agreement confirms the snowfall trigger and route expectations. Timing depends on storm conditions, accumulation, and the route. We review these details with you before service begins.
Are walks and ice treatments included?
Shoveling, deicing, and anti-icing are optional additional services. Select the areas and treatments you would like quoted, and we’ll identify their scope and pricing in your proposal.
Do I need snow stakes?
We recommend pre-season snow staking to clearly define hardscape limits, including driveway edges and curbing. Staking is available at an additional charge. Please identify any concealed features or sensitive areas during the property review.
What if I don’t know my driveway’s square footage?
Use the calculator’s dimensions option for a rough length × average-width estimate, adding any extra apron or turnaround area. You can also request a property review without a size estimate. Final service area and pricing are confirmed by NELD.
What areas do you serve, and how do payments work?
Residential service is focused on North Andover and surrounding communities, subject to route availability. Your written proposal identifies your service rate, additional options, billing arrangements, and payment terms.
